Cheers to Volunteers Awards
The Cheers to Volunteers award offers Halton serving organizations an opportunity to recognize the important contributions volunteers make to their mission and vision, and to celebrate the National Volunteer Week. Nominations are open to all nonprofit, charitable, voluntary, grassroots, and community support organizations actively providing volunteer services in Halton. Halton Volunteer Impact Award
Recognize the importance and impact of the role of individual volunteers across Halton Region on an annual basis. Nominations are open to all nonprofit, charitable, voluntary, grassroots, and community support organizations providing services in Halton. Oakville Community Spirit Awards
Oakville Community Spirit Awards recognizes, honours and celebrates individuals, organizations, businesses and community groups who are contributing to the life and spirit of a neighbourhood or community in Oakville and abroad. Ontario Honours and Awards

Ontario Senior of the Year Award
The Ontario Senior of the Year Award gives each municipality in Ontario the opportunity to honour one outstanding local Ontarian who after the age of 65 has enriched the social, cultural or civic life of his or her community.

This Award honours those who have made outstanding contributions to their communities after turning 65.

Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship
The Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship recognizes individuals who, through exceptional long-term efforts, have made outstanding contributions to their communities.

Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students
This award is given to graduating students from an Ontario secondary school, and honours those students who not only complete the number of volunteer hours required to graduate, but who go above and beyond.

June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award
The June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism in Ontario -awarded for superlative volunteer work undertaken by individuals, groups or businesses.

Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers
The Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers – presented to young volunteers between the ages of 15 and 24.

Ontario Volunteer Service Award
The Ontario Volunteer Service awards are given to volunteers in recognition of continuous years of service with a community organization.

Hilary M. Weston Scholarship
The Hilary M. Weston Scholarship is awarded to two graduate-level social work students in the area of mental health. Successful applicants each receive a one-time award of $7,500.
