This report provides the reader with quantitative and qualitative information about poverty in Halton. Through statistical data and through the life histories of fifteen people living in poverty in Halton, this study aims to develop an extensive profile of those living in poverty.
This report also aims to collect stories or testimonies of those living in poverty. It provides qualitative information about the quality of their lives, their survival strategies, their suggestions for and addresses their views of the future. This report also provides information for the community to develop short and long-term community based strategies to reduce poverty.
