The purpose of this report is to measure and monitor changes in the living conditions which affect the quality of life in Halton. ‘Quality of life’ was measured using the Quality of Life Index (QLI). Researchers identified and analyzed changes in the quality of life by looking at twelve indicators divided into four broad categories identified in the definition of quality of life. These categories are social, economic, health, and environmental. This snapshot report documents the results from this analysis showing both positive and negative trends between 1990 and 2000. This report is the fourth in this series.
