Daffodil Month Volunteers Urgently Needed! This April, by volunteering just a few hours of your time in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Month campaign, local residents can save lives and help people who are living with cancer.
Volunteers are needed to support the 2019 Daffodil Campaign by selling pins for a donation at various retail locations in Burlington, Georgetown, Milton, and Oakville or help out by becoming a site coordinator over 2 or 4 days. The campaign takes place:
- Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April 7, 2019 and
- Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 11, 2019.
Money raised during the Daffodil Campaign funds ground-breaking life-saving research, support services for those living cancer, and advocacy to governments on important cancer-related issues to drive important social change and funding. Volunteer and together we can prove that life is bigger than cancer. If you are interested in learning more or helping, please contact the Canadian Cancer Society – Halton Community office at 905-634-6893.
