Today is the day! Community Development Halton (CDH) – Volunteer Halton is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2023 Cheers to Volunteers award program. The Cheers to Volunteers award provides all nonprofit, charitable, voluntary, and grassroots organizations in Halton Region an opportunity to recognize the important contribution volunteers make to your organization and our community. CDH membership is not required to submit a nomination.
Three recipients from each of Halton’s local communities – Burlington, Milton, Oakville, and Halton Hills – will be selected, via random draw, from the pool of nominations. All twelve recipients will receive their award during CDH’s National Volunteer Week Community Celebrations held April 16 – 22, 2023.
