Achieve Ontario online tool allows organizations that engage volunteers, to recognize the value of volunteering experience, assists volunteers in their job search, and access volunteer position descriptions.
This workshop will:
- Develop clear concise volunteer positions speaking the language of the sector which is an important component of risk management
- Train you on Achieve Ontario and provide a stronger understanding of the benefits of Achieve Ontario Recognition Certificate, as a free volunteer experience recognition tool
- Create your own Achieve Ontario Recognition Certificate for your volunteers
FACILITATOR: Cody Palmer-Almond, MEd, certified Achieve Ontario trainer and Manager of the Ontario Volunteer Centre Network (OVCN). Cody’s passion for volunteerism and the voluntary sector has been instrumental in the success of numerous provincial initiatives such as the Ontario Change The World youth challenge, the provincial PanAm games and currently the ACHIEVE Ontario recognition program.

This is a hands-on training, please bring your own laptop. Wi-Fi available. All participants will be required to sign a user agreement prior to attending the training and will receive an Achieve Ontario access account.
