This report, requested by the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton (UWBGH), explores the social and spatial dimensions of poverty by various population groups such as newcomers, people living with disabilities, seniors and children.

Using 2006 Statistic’s Canada Census data, this new report highlights Oakville’s growing diversity with details such as maps of newcomer clusters, places of birth, mother tongue and home language, income, education and labour force activity.
