Making Data Work For You (Halton Hills)

In this workshop, participants will:
1. Gain an understanding of the changing demographics of Halton
2. Gain a greater understanding of the purpose of statistics
3. See your agency in data
4. Discuss practical ways statistics/data can be used within your agency’s planning:
  a. When to use it
  b. Where to find it
  c. How to use it

Presenter:
TED HILDEBRANDT, Director of Social Planning, Community Development Halton.
Ted oversees the acquisition and analysis of data for CDH, including the production of Social Profiles for the Halton Region and data analysis for community organizations addressing issues such as diversity, poverty and affordable housing.
