The April 2024 Community Data Watch focuses on the geographic distribution pattern of renter households and shelter costs (average rent) at the neighbourhood level.
This publication identifies areas with high concentrations of renter households to pinpoint locations where housing affordability might be a significant concern.
We hope that this publication stirs community dialogue about affordable housing, the importance of community supports as people work to stretch their dollar to afford shelter and a home. We also hope this helps to ignite conversation and action on policy and strategy for affordable housing.
