Community Development Halton has developed a fund focused on supporting grass roots groups across Halton.
Grass roots community groups make a significant contribution to the vibrancy and resiliency of our Halton communities and neighbourhoods, but they are not always part of the conversations, capacity building opportunities and the spotlight. We believe it is important to change this.
We are inviting you to be part in the development of a fund that will support 20 grass roots groups over the next 12 months. The fund will cover support for volunteer recruitment through the Volunteer Halton database, access to CDH Education workshops, consultation to help them build their capacity and an opportunity for them to tell their story to increase awareness of their work and its contribution in Halton.
A one time contribution of $100 provides a year of support for one grass roots group.
